We all know, that Abhimanyu learned the secret of warfare in his mother’s womb and same is the case with our new talent Aman Saxena who was born with music as an integral part of his DNA. Both his parents were already knowing the secret of life hidden in seven magical notes of music, his dad Mr. Sudesh Saxena joined JNV Jodhpur and further JNV Rewari as Music Teacher, also his mother earned M.A. degree in music.
Aman has seen Navodaya from different perspectives, right from the beginning when classes were conducted in the temporary sites to a full-fledged school complexes. In spite of having an impressive musical background, he was not interested in music in his early age. He started playing keyboard when he was eight and got inspired by the AR Rahman music which gave him the spiritual belief and accelerated his passion towards music. His favorite spot in school was the music room, where he was seen spending most of his time experimenting with various musical instruments. To ensure maximum time to his passion and love for music, he opted Arts stream for his studies. Science was interesting but then studying Maths was a nightmare for him, that was another reason for opting Arts. Further, he got admission in MD University – Rohtak for graduation in Music after passing out in 2010 from Navodaya.
Life is Simple, It’s Just Not Easy
His plan was to join KMMC, a music school in Chennai run by AR Rahman. But you know life doesn’t always go as per plan and his father was diagnosed with Mouth Cancer in 2012. It was the turning point in his life when his father passed away in May 2013 after a tough fight with Cancer. A complete darkness, suddenly all dreams vanished and the life became like a kite without a string. While he was halfway through to his musical journey, increased responsibility to take care of his mother and younger brother forced him to discontinue from what he was doing. He then took the job on compassionate ground and joined JNV-Alwar as Office staff and continuing the same. He is fortunate enough to have incredibly generous and supporting colleagues, who are always there to hold his hands in difficulties.
True Passion Never Dies
Come what may, Aman is not going to let his passion die, his path is changed but not the ambition. Now he has a mini studio setup at his home where he practices especially in the night (a lot of time till 2:00 am) and prepares himself to be the future rockstar. He likes composing music, singing, sound programming, arranging, mixing and lyrics writing. He has won a lot of hearts in various National events and Inter-University fests. At present, he is pursuing MA in Music, after completing B.Ed. and Graduation from MD University-Rohtak.
Apart from the love of music, he is also like to explore latest technologies and gadgets. He is always ready for traveling and exploring nature. His love for high-speed bike riding is not a secret anymore, he also likes to experiment with his camera whenever he gets time.
Aman says, “I am just in the middle of the sea right now and probably not the best person to advise anyone, but I have a suggestion for artists that with advancement in social networking and technology today the world is watching you. Talent can’t remain hidden now. So make use of these technologies and show the world what special you have got in you. Apart from this, I also believe in ‘The Life Project’, which means that in whatever field you are working and under whatever circumstances, just keep working on your innovative idea, project or product which can help or change the world. In the end, I want to advise all to sustain humor in your life. It’s very important.
